For families who want to play an active role in their child's education, APS offers a unique learning model that blends the structure of school with learning at home. Students at Coyote Willow Family School and Desert Willow Family School split their time between the classroom and home, with teachers and families working together to support learning at every step.

In the classroom, students engage in hands-on, multi-age learning that emphasizes collaboration, critical thinking and problem-solving. At home, families help extend learning through projects and daily instruction guided by a clear framework and ongoing teacher support.

This unique approach gives students the benefits of both classroom learning and family involvement, creating a strong partnership that helps children grow academically, socially and personally.
